22–24 November 2024 – THE EXHIBITION “Arturo Ciacelli 1883–1966: original works of art in his hometown of Arnara” The exhibition is organised as part of the Argil Ecomuseum’s “Le Origini” programme of events to mark the 30th anniversary of the discovery of Argil and the 20th anniversary of the Ecomuseum. Il Granaio dell’Arte presents visitors with a selection of original works by the painter Arturo Ciacelli, born in Arnara on 28 May 1883. The works, drawn from the LaFiori, Maurizio Lozzi and Remo Costantini collections, offer an insight into the painter, who was active within the Futurist movement but open to influences from various artistic currents and forms of expression. Furthermore, the exhibition marks the first time the Granaio dell’Arte has been presented to the public.
